esta enfermedad en s\u00ed es silente, lo que significa es que muchas veces no da se\u00f1ales de su existencia hasta el momento que llegan las complicaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las complicaciones habituales de esta enfermedad es lo que se conoce como pie diabetico, lo que significa que el paciente puede presentar una herida y no darse cuenta de la misma, y esta herida en el pie puede sufrir un proceso infeccioso sobreagregado, tal y como podemos ver en nuestro paciente, el cual comenzo como una peque\u00f1a lesi\u00f3n entre los dedos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/01-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-760\" srcset=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/01-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/01-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/01-600x800.jpg 600w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/01.jpg 780w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Como parte de este problema del pie diab\u00e9tico, sobreviene que es un pie donde la llegada de sangre se ve comprometida, siendo el flujo de este elemento de vida muy escaso hacia los dedos, mismo que se manifiesta por muerte de los dedos del pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD02.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-762\" srcset=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD02.jpg 800w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD02-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD02-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD02-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD02-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD02-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A medida que la falta de sangre en el pie se hace m\u00e1s evidente y debido a la infecci\u00f3n acompa\u00f1ante la lesi\u00f3n se hace cada vez m\u00e1s grande en extensi\u00f3n y profundidad, es por ello que es necesario una adecuada valoraci\u00f3n de la condici\u00f3n de los tejidos, adem\u00e1s de realizar estudios para evidenciar el flujo de sangre en las extremidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD03.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-763\" srcset=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD03.jpg 800w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD03-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD03-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD03-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD03-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD03-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuestro paciente al verse en esta etapa tan avanzada, acudio a un centro de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica donde le realizaron varios procedimientos, entre ellos una revascularizaci\u00f3n de la extremidad, y por otro lado le realizaron una amputaci\u00f3n de los dedos desvitalizados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD04.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-764\" srcset=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD04.jpg 800w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD04-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD04-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD04-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD04-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD04-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En el momento de la llegada del paciente a nuestro consultorio ya tenia 2 dedos amputados, parte de hueso expuesto al medio ambiente y presencia de tejido desvitalizado y con infecci\u00f3n. Como primera medida y antes de iniciar con cualquier medicaci\u00f3n se debe identificar el germen que ocasiona la infecci\u00f3n, es as\u00ed que se realiz\u00f3 toma de muestra (biopsia), aseo quir\u00fargico exhaustivo y recubrimiento \u00f3seo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD05.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-765\" srcset=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD05.jpg 800w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD05-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD05-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD05-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD05-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD05-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez identificado el germen productor de la infecci\u00f3n, se realiza el manejo conjunto con infectolog\u00eda quien se encarga de dosificar la medicaci\u00f3n, mientras que por otro lado realizamos las curaciones necesarias utilizando equipos de ayuda para el control de la infecci\u00f3n como es el sistema VAC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD07.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-766\" srcset=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD07.jpg 800w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD07-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD07-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD07-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD07-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD07-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD08.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-767\" srcset=\"https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD08.jpg 800w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD08-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD08-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD08-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD08-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/doctorluther.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/PD08-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El control del proceso infeccioso requiri\u00f3 un trabajo conjunto entre la parte cl\u00ednica y quir\u00fargica, lograr recubrir la herida como tal tomo varias semanas de trabajo arduo y apoyo por parte del paciente cumpliendo su medicaci\u00f3n y acudiendo a las curaciones, as\u00ed como el apoyo de la familia con el paciente, para no permitir desmotivaci\u00f3n y brindarle la fuerza necesaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El resultado final fue gratificante, ya que se evito llegar a una amputaci\u00f3n donde con seguridad el pie se podr\u00eda haber perdido hasta por debajo la rodilla.
