El dedo en martillo (mallet finger) es una lesi\u00f3n en el aparato extensor del dedo, lo que significa que el paciente con este tipo de lesi\u00f3n no podra estirar completamente el dedo, quedando la punta o regi\u00f3n m\u00e1s distal doblado de manera permanente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta lesi\u00f3n puede incluir la ruptura del tend\u00f3n extensor o una fractura de la base de la \u00fatlima falange del dedo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A continuaci\u00f3n les comparto el caso cl\u00ednico<\/strong> de un paciente masculino, de 35 a\u00f1os, quien al recibir un golpe en la punta del dedo con un bal\u00f3n siendo diagnosticado de dedo en martillo; para su manejo se decidi\u00f3 realizar una t\u00e9cnica de fijaci\u00f3n m\u00ednima invasiva o percut\u00e1nea con ayuda de fluoroscopia o radiograf\u00eda din\u00e1mica en vivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
